D Magazine is a monthly magazine covering Dallas-Fort Worth. It is headquartered in Downtown Dallas. D Magazine exists to enrich the lives of its readers, whether by making recommendations on where to spend their time and money; instilling in them a sense of place by introducing them to the people who make it unique; or explaining how the city works (or doesn’t). It covers a range of topics including politics, business, food, fashion and lifestyle in the city of Dallas. The first issue was published in October 1974 by its founders, Wick Allison and Jim Atkinson.

Struggling to increase the number of print subscribers, D Magazine was seeking to generate increased digital subscriptions and print subscriptions by utilizing online advertising. Additionally, the company seeked to increase attendance to D Magazine’s annual Best of Big D. Anderson worked with D Magazine in 2016 to develop a digital ad strategy for both increasing print subscriptions and additionally their Best of Big D event.
Solution:
Anderson worked with D Magazine to set up print subscription advertising campaigns accross Facebook and Instagram. Utilizing facebook pixel installation we were able to accurately track results and conversions generated from the camapaign that ran throughout the duration of Q3 2016.
For Best of Big D, Anderson assisted with the creation of 80 branded pieces of social media content, created a landing page for the event, generated email marketing campaigns, and managed digital advertisements for the event.
