At Highland Park High School our motto was Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve. I was always proud of this motto and as I was graduating and headed off to College I was eager to put these words into action.
However, as I progressed through my early career I often felt like I didn’t know how to serve in the world of business where the focus is largely centered around profits and expenses.
Growing up my uncle Scot Redman took me on many life-changing mission trips, but I struggled to translate these experiences into my professional life.
A wise person once told me that if you don’t set foundational principles of giving even when you feel like you are not in a good position to give, then you will not give when you are actually are in a great position to give.
As I’ve been building my new business I’ve decided that I want to make this idea a central tenant to our organization.
So during each fiscal quarter of 2020, Anderson Collaborative will be partnering up with a charity/cause to provide them with a brand new website or managed digital advertising campaign free of charge.
We need YOUR help to get connected with causes. If you have a cause you are passionate about, please fill out the form on our website connecting us with them or share this post to help spread the word.
Best,
Trevor Anderson
